About
Pink of Perfection is a guide to the simple pleasures of a budget-minded bon vivant. Being thrifty isn’t necessarily about doing things the cheapest way possible, but rather knowing when to pinch, when to splurge, and always being happy with the charming imperfections of doing things yourself. It’s about a life of community, creativity, beauty, and pleasure, and one in which we forget about doing things the right way, and instead just do it our own way.
Sarah McColl is the lady behind this site. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, where she learned to ride horses and throw a lasso while also developing a penchant for frito pie and gracious living. She is now a freelance writer and editor residing happily in the borough of Brooklyn where she tackles sewing projects with trepidation, daydreams about France, and gives her library card a good workout.
Sebastian Conley lends his directing and editing prowess to the Pink of Perfection videos. He is an Emmy-winning web producer and director and is currently making the festival rounds with his first feature film. He also happens to be Sarah’s husband. In his free time, he likes to set steak on fire.
