Introducing the Pink of Perfection Forum!

One of the greatest compliments I ever got was from my friend Jenny. She said I had a real knack for spotting quality people — interesting, talented, sweet — and bringing them together. This knack, if you will, perhaps explains my passion for dinner parties and how, ever since I read in Vogue a glamorous white-haired lady described as a “celebrated hostess,” I’ve wanted to be considered the same.

Well, I’m putting my talent to use. When I started this blog (what seems like so long ago!), I wasn’t expecting that such a vibrant community would grow up around it. I so treasure our comments section. You all have so many great things to say, such great ideas, and such keen insights. But the conversation was starting to feel a little one-sided to me. I thought I could give us some room to grow.

In fact, we have 5 rooms for our party, all designed around topics we tend to talk about on the site: Living Room, Kitchen, Craft Room, Library, and Office. You can access the forum directly in the top navigation bar. See up there next to the logo? Underneath the ad that helps pay the rent? You can’t miss the button. It’s hot pink.

I’ve added some topics just to get us rolling, but this is your space as much as mine, so start the conversations you want to have, ask the questions you need answering. How do you stay organized? What are you doing with all this zucchini? How do you stay on task once you’ve set a goal? What do you listen to at the gym? You know, girl talk (and I mean that in the absolute best sense of the phrase possible).

So settle in, make yourself comfortable (if I could hand you a delicious beverage, you know I would), be friendly, and let’s make this house a home. I’m so glad you could make it.
