Kerry: Oh, I love Delirium! If you ever find yourself in Brussels, you must go to their bar. So many lovely varieties of Delirium beer, plus just about anything else you can imagine. And there’s a great Absinthe bar just across the lane.
Enjoy the snow. England has gotten quite a bit, but not where I live unfortunately.1 year ago
Sarah: adrienne, manu planning is the funnest! and happy, happy birthday!
kerry, hopefully i will find myself in brussels sooner rather than later as one of my best friends lives there and i STILL haven’t visited her.1 year ago
Julia - the Wounded Chef: i heart belgian beer. sarah, if you go to brussels, you must also spend a couple days in bruges! it’s got all the beer and chocolate of brussels, but it’s much more calm and charming and romantic, and it’s a great place to sightsee via bicycle!1 year ago
MrsB: oooooooooooo dt!! my that brings back some blurry memories of belgium! more of a well behaved kriek girl now!!! x1 year ago
Sarah: julia, oh, bruges looks divine and storybook-y. and you know how i feel about bicycle riding…
mrs b, you never cease to crack me up.1 year ago
Cordelia: As much as I complain about the hassles of snow, I can’t deny it’s sparkling beauty. Lately I’ve been distracted by darlingdexter.com. Whitney is too cute for words and has posted every detail from her uber laid-back and beautiful wedding. It’s really too easy to procrastinate these days!1 year ago
Sarah: cordelia, i will have to check out darlingdexter as i aim to be an uber laidback and beautiful bride, too!1 year ago
Gourmet Chick: I lived in Belgium for six months and Delerium Tremens is the best (although Hoegarden is also lovely)the saying is that it is so potent that after a few Deleriums you will start to see the pink elephants on the bottle! Thanks for this post it is lovely - a nice cheer up for a dreary February day.1 year ago
Lisa (dinner party): Mmm…Stumptown.1 year ago
Melissa: Wonderful list! Be sure to try Delirium Nocturnum as well. I’ll never forget the first time I had it. It was like getting tipsy from chocolate milk. Mmmm.1 year ago
Alicia Kachmar: So is the Stumptown coffee at Roots everything I keep hearing it is??? I must make a trip!1 year ago
Joy: I love your first picture. A long, gossipy lunch with a good friend - perfect!1 year ago
