How lovely. It also reminds me of donut holes - there was a bakery nearby the library where I grew up.

Boy does that make me miss long lazy summer afternoons spent sifting through the card catalogs. Even the library is too fast-paced these days sometimes.

crazy i know, but i used to consider the library a place of intrigue and adventure--as you never know what, or WHO you may come across in the stacks.

Anyone remember the *smell* of the old card catalog???
Posted by: EB | January 22, 2008 4:41 PM
or what about the way a book could really stink if it was old and hadn't been opened in a loong, loong time?
